With the American Government building their new Embassy on 5 acres of the site, Ballymore are developiong the remaining 15 acres into a bold 21st century mixed use development.

• Should have experience working in a digital agency environment
• Must be able to develop with the end user in mind

Your skills have to include…

• ASP.Net MVC
• jQuery (experience with other javascript libraries would be cool too)
• Experience with other server coding languages are a bonus, i.e. PHP, Ruby, etc.
• E-commerce experience (payment gateway integration knowledge is a benefit)
• Excellent CSS & Html knowledge, ideally CSS3 & HTML5
• Some experience of mobile development; native iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, or Blackberry…or HTML5 with PhoneGap would be even better.
• Experience with SVN

You will be experienced at working within the digital sector, and a have a sound understanding of the web, social media and associated technologies, and for the right person looking to expand their experience in the digital world – then this could be your opportunity!

In return for your amazing talent and artistic skills you can expect a competitive salary, breakfast rolls on a Friday, copious cups of fancy coffee (from the fancy coffee machine) and an exciting and oh-so friendly workplace that helps nurture and develop the skills of everyone involved. No, honestly, we don’t routinely walk round looking stupid and skulking in telephone boxes, and I don’t want to talk about the funny handshake and the nun in the Corn Exchange, and I definitely can’t mention pulling feathers out of a Pheasants bottom in the Market. Please, just don’t ask.

After much silliness and merriment around the town centre, and not a Father Christmas in sight when you needed one, victory was declared by Helen’s team in Tiger Tiger, where we very kindly shared the unusual tasting champagne with Tony’s Team – LOOSERS!!!!!!!

Still, I’m glad to say that the day ended in a rather more civilised and warm manner, with a jolly nice slap up meal at The Bar and Grill, where several fillet steaks and a couple of Lobsters slipped down rather nicely. With good fun, good food, and some pretty good friends, it was the perfect end to what’s been a pretty good year.

Now, for the next team outing, I know a rather nice spa we could all go to…

With some great projects in the pipeline, and a diary full of new business opportunities for January, we’re looking forward to helping our clients and continuing to build on the growth and success we enjoyed in 2011. Times are tough for everyone but with an ever-expanding digital horizon we’re excited to see what the next 12 months bring.

We’ve recently designed a completely new e-commerce website for a new fabric sofa brand: Lovely Sofas. The new site has a warm and lovely feel, and rather cleverly allows the customer to pick their favourite style, apply a lovely fabric, pop on some neat feet and away they go.

We’ve constructed the site specifically with the user in mind, and designed their purchase journey to be a simple and straightforward process. With a good smattering of call to actions throughout, and easy to find contact information, we think it all looks rather lovely.
